School Nurse RN
A well-established community and public school system working to serve students (pre-k through 12th grade) is currently seeking nurses for their education programs. The base pay range for this position is $40 to $45 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:
Conducting student hearing and vision screenings
Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
Verifying student vaccination records
Taking students' temperatures when fever is suspected
Administering first aid and CPR
Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises
Contacting parents when students are ill or injured
Requirements:
Registered Nurse “ New Jersey State Licensure
Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelors
One year of nursing experience preferred
